It seems only fitting that I work my tail off with one child "helping" and the other vying for my attention in order to finish this cake so my husband can take it to work with him to share with the guys.... only to have him receive a phone call 5 minutes before work where he had to literally run out the door leaving the cake behind. Ironic.
"I'll be back for it" he says over his shoulder.

Luckily it wasn't too long and he returned to pick up the cake.
